Survey Summary # 1
The survey was distributed during Swieconka on April 23, 2011. The following questions were asked:

Results:
· Total of 27 people responded to survey:
o 59% (16) don’t belong to PASGC and 41% (11) belongs to PASGC
o 30% (8) plans to sign up, 44% (12) is undecided and 26% (7) are members of PASGC

· Total of 8 people expressed interest in learning polish language for children, 8 people are undecided and 11 people are not interested.
· Total of 12 people expressed interest in helping during the events, 9 peoples are undecided and 6 people are not interested in helping during events.
· Responses about what would like to add/change in PASGC:
o “dobre by bylo zorganizowanie czasami generalne zebranie moze uczestnicy mieliby troche nowych pomyslow!”
o “Yes, open for discussion / implementing.”
o “No - Need younger members to help take over from older ones”
o “zmobilizowac ludzi do przychodzenia na polskie uroczystosci, lepszy marketing,”
o “We need o publicize more! I know 50+ Polkas’ who would join events, but don't know about them! We need to attract " new blood" to the organization”
o “procession (Eastern) song should be sung much faster. Also # of song should be told”
· Total of 78% (21) people provided contact information were 11 people are NEW to the PASGC (not on the Current List) and 10 people are members. From 11 people that are new to PASGC only 5 people will sing up, 3 people are thinning and 3 people will not sign up.
Voluntary feedback:
· People want meetings open to all members of PASGC.
· People want “non communist” election. Need to understand the nomination and election process – more transparent.
· People want to have the Constitution and the Constitution needs updating.
· People want more events (more frequently).
· Some people, who paid membership this year, do not receive any information from the PASGC.
· People want to be reminded to pay membership fee (Membership Form provided more frequently).
· People want to receive phone call to remind them of event and also via email, by mail and website.
· Website and Facebook needs updating, cleaning and clarity. Recommend to use the ENVITE invitation service for future events.
Recommendations:
1. Send this survey to everyone via Survey Monkey (or similar) and by mail (ask for respond by May 31st). Survey summary #2 completed by June 5th.
2. Schedule meeting open to the public for all members of PASGC (June 14th)to discuss results from survey.
3. Schedule meeting with all people who are interested to learn polish language (June 21st).
